There are many area attractions, shops, restaurants, and activities to keep everyone busy throughout a stay on Hilton Head. The park is located at 55 Starfish Drive off of Folly Field Road. The park is open Monday-Sunday 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. during the season and Monday-Sunday 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. during the winter (Daylight Saving Time ends).
Beach
Enjoy time on the sand and the shore of the Atlantic. Take a dip in the water or a stroll or bike ride on the sand. Bring your beach gear, coolers full of drinks and snacks, and anything else you need for your perfect day at the beach. There are lifeguards and beach rental items during the season.
Boardwalk
The boardwalk is a fun place for a walk and an easy way to get to the beach. The restrooms and outdoor showers are nearby for your convenience.
Conveniences & Accessibility
For your convenience, Folly Field Beach provides outdoor showers as well as bathroom facilities. Rinse off the salt and sand before getting back in your rental vehicle, change out of wet swimsuits, or use the restroom throughout your day at the beach. There is also beach matting set out to make getting to the sand and water of the Atlantic less difficult. Matting extends from the end of the entrance off of the parking area and about halfway to one of the lifeguard towers.
Parking
There is metered parking available at the beach park’s parking lot. Pay at the machine before heading out for a day in the sun.
