Here are some of our favorite activities:

Harbour Town Marina & Lighthouse

Harbour Town Marina and Lighthouse on Hilton Head Island is an iconic landmark and a popular destination for visitors. The centerpiece of the marina is the towering red-and-white-striped Harbour Town Lighthouse. This local landmark stands at 90 feet tall and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area from its observation deck.

The marina is a vibrant activity hub, with a wide range of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Visitors can explore the marina on foot, take a boat tour, or just relax and enjoy the waterfront views. The area also hosts fun events and festivals throughout the year!

The Beach Club features a picturesque setting along the coast of Hilton Head Island, providing visitors with direct access to the sandy shores and tranquil waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Guests can enjoy a range of amenities at the Beach Club, including beach chairs and umbrellas for relaxation, as well as showers and restrooms for convenience.

World-Class Golf in Sea Pines

Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island offers world-class golf courses for players of all skill levels. Among them is Harbour Town Golf Links, an iconic course designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus. Renowned for hosting the PGA Tour’s RBC Heritage tournament, it challenges players with narrow fairways and small greens against the backdrop of the Calibogue Sound.

Another gem is Heron Point by Pete Dye, offering a more modern layout with wide fairways and stunning water features. Additionally, Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III provides a scenic experience with rolling dunes and ocean views. These courses collectively offer a diverse range of golfing experiences amidst the beauty of Hilton Head Island.

Explore South Beach Marina

Just a 2-minute walk from the beach, you can do it all at South Beach Marina! Home to the famous Salty Dog Cafe, this spot is perfect for enjoying delicious food, refreshing drinks, and live entertainment with a waterfront view. Whether you’re grabbing a famous Salty Dog t-shirt as a keepsake or just enjoying a drink on the water, you’ll quickly see why this spot is a Hilton Head favorite.

With direct access to beautiful beaches and some of the best scenery in the area, it’s the perfect place to kick back, and soak up the sun for the day! The relaxing vacation vibes here can’t be beat.

Enjoy Time Outdoors

Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island offers guests a chance to explore nature through many scenic outlets. There are outdoor recreational activities for all interests! Spend time on the water kayaking, paddleboarding, or out on a fishing charter.

Back on land, you can try horseback riding, tennis, pickleball, or go out on an eco-tour of the area. Don’t miss exploring the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, (a 605-acre natural area with wildlife, walking trails, and fishing) either! Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or an action-packed adventure, Sea Pines Resort has it all.

Hilton Head Leisure Trails

Speaking of spending time outdoors, we have to mention the Hilton Head leisure trails in their own section. You must spend some time exploring them during your stay at Sea Pines!

There are several points of interest along the trails, including the aforementioned Forest Preserve, Harbour Town, South Beach Marina Village, Plantation Golf Club, Stoney-Baynard Ruins, and more. Visitors can jog, bike, or walk on the trails; be sure to stay aware of your surroundings and yield to pedestrians if you’re cycling.

Legacy Oak Trees

While you’re out biking, jogging, or walking on Hilton Head’s leisure trails, you’ll see many gorgeous live oak trees. There are thousands in Sea Pines alone!

But what makes an oak tree a “live” oak tree? Live oak trees are the only oak trees to keep their leaves all year long. They’re 40-60 feet tall, and their long branches well surpass their height! You will see these special live oak trees all along the leisure trails at Sea Pines.

Fifteen of our live oak trees have been chosen as Legacy Oak Trees to bring a better understanding and appreciation of them to visitors. They represent the best specimens in the area, and range in age from 150-350 years old!

Sea Pines Trolley

Looking for an easy, convenient way to get around Sea Pines Resort during your stay? Sea Pines Trolley is the perfect solution! It’s completely free to use, and will take you everywhere you need to go in Sea Pines.

All three lines are open in the summertime (Memorial Day to Labor Day), and the red line is open year-round. Check the trolley website for up-to-date information on service!
